OG 2.5-2 SPECTRAL EVOLUTION OF y-RAYS FROM ADIABATICALLY EXPANDING SOURCES IN DENSE CLOUDS
نویسنده
چکیده
The excess of antiprotons (P) observed in cosmic rays has been attributed to their production in supernova_(SN) envelopes expanding in dense clouds. While creating P, y-rays are also produced and these clouds would shine as y-ray sources. The evolution of the Y-ray spectrum has been calculated for clouds of nH = 104 and 105/cm 3.

3D Classification of Urban Features Based on Integration of Structural and Spectral Information from UAV Imagery
Three-dimensional classification of urban features is one of the important tools for urban management and the basis of many analyzes in photogrammetry and remote sensing. Therefore, it is applied in many applications such as planning, urban management and disaster management. In this study, dense point clouds extracted from dense image matching is applied for classification in urban areas. Appl...
متن کاملPair Production and Radiation Effects in Clouds Illuminated by Gamma Ray Sources
Many classes of gamma-ray sources, such as gammaray bursts, blazars, Seyfert galaxies, and galactic black hole sources are surrounded by large amounts of gas and dust. X-rays and gamma-rays that traverse this material will be attenuated by Compton scattering and photoelectric absorption. One signature of an intervening scattering cloud is radiationhardening by electrons that have been scattered...

Outflows up to 1500 km s −1 of atomic neutral hydrogen are detected in a growing number of radio galaxies. Outflows with similar velocities are also detected in ionized gas, suggesting a common origin for the extreme kinematics of these two phases of the gas. The high detection rate of such outflows in young (or restarted) radio sources appears to be related to the existence of a dense ISM arou...
متن کاملBroad-band nonthermal emission from molecular clouds illuminated by cosmic rays from nearby supernova remnants
Molecular clouds are expected to emit non-thermal radiation due to cosmic ray interactions in the dense magnetized gas. Such emission is amplified if a cloud is located close to an accelerator of cosmic rays and if energetic particles can leave the accelerator site and diffusively reach the cloud. We consider here the situation in which a molecular cloud is located in the proximity of a superno...
متن کاملStatistical Analysis of Point-like Sources in Chandra Galactic Center Survey
Chandra Galactic Center Survey detected ∼ 800 X-ray pointlike sources in the 2 × 0.8 sky region around the Galactic Center. In this paper, we study the spatial and luminosity distributions of these sources according to their spectral properties. Fourteen bright sources detected are used to fit jointly an absorbed power-law model, from which the power-law photon index is determined to be ∼2.5. A...
